Born in Vienna in 1972, lives and works in Vienna studied at the Vienna academy of applied arts between 1992 and 1996 and in 1996/97 attended the academy of Fine arts Vienna. an installation and video artist, he explores, among other things, the relationship between ideology and architecture. his most recent solo exhibitions include Marko Luli ´c – New Works/Werkstättenpreis 2009 at the erich hauser art Foundation in Rottweil, Marko Luli ´c (2009) at BaWaG contemporary in Vienna, Unsocial Sculpture (2007) at the Douglas F. cooley Memorial art Gallery at Reed college in Portland, and Schlamm/Mud (2007) at the triangle Project space in san antonio. since 1998, he has curated and co-curated numerous international exhibitions, such as Belgrade Art Inc. (2004) at the Vienna secession, Zidovi na ulici/Walls in the Street (2008) at the Museum of contemporary art in Belgrade, staged in cooperation with the siemens arts Program in Munich, Garage 98 (1998) in the Mackey apartment house of the MaK center in los angeles, Precise Models (2004) at the Galerija Remont in Belgrade, Sozialer Raum [Social Space] (2009) at the temporary space in Vienna, and Bodies and Fractured Spaces (2009) at the austrian cultural Forum in new York.
