Blue noses Group, founded in novosibirsk in 1999 Viacheslav Mizin, born in novosibirsk in 1962, lives and works in novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg Alexander Shaburov, born in Berezovsky, sverdlovsk in 1965; lives and works in Yekaterinburg and Moscow the group gained international fame through provocative performances and sarcastic taboo breaks. it devoted itself to the deconstruction of stereotypes across the media, the arts, and politics by means of photography and video since 1999. Recent projects and individual exhibitions include Mind Games (2007/8) at the Galerie in situ Fabienne leclerc in Paris, Blue Noses (2007) at the Galerie Volker Diehl in Berlin, and Blue Noses: Fucking Fascism (2007) at the Guelman Gallery in Moscow. Participated in such internationally acclaimed group exhibitions as the 3rd Moscow Biennale (2009), the 51th Biennale di Venezia (2005), the 1st Moscow Biennale (2005), the Prague Biennale 2 (2005), and the 8th Baltic Triennial (2002).
