lives and works in Vienna Silvia eiblmayr holds a PhD in art history and works as a curator in the field of contemporary art. From 1998 to 2008, she was director of the Galerie im Taxispalais in innsbruck. Since 1988, she has been working as a lecturer and guest professor in austria and abroad. She is the author and editor of numerous texts and publications. her book Woman as Picture. The Female Body in 20th Century Art was published in Berlin in 1993 (1997, 2001).
