* 1960 in Karlsruhe, lives and works in Karlsruhe Margrit Brehm was awarded her doctorate in 1991 (Der Fall Caravaggio); from 1992–2002 she was a curator for the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden and from 2003–2005 she worked as chief curator for the Museum der Moderne Salzburg. Since 2006 she has been taking care of exhibitions and/or publications for the Belvedere in Vienna, the ZKM in Karlsruhe, the Falckenberg Collection in Hamburg, the me Collectors Room in Berlin, etc. She has published on contemporary Japanese art, post-minimalism, John M. Armleder, Chuck Close, George Condo, Mat Collishaw, John Isaacs, Füsun Onur, Tobias Rehberger, Cindy Sherman, Paul Thek, Richard Tuttle and many others.
