Julia Garimorth lives and works in Paris. After having studied art history in Vienna, Paris (Sorbonne) and Prague (Central European University), she worked at the Museum of Modern, Contemporary and Outsider Art in Lille. She has been chief curator at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris since 1999, where she is responsible for its contemporary collections since 2012.
