Christina Lehnert is curator at Portikus in Frankfurt am Main since 2018. Prior to joining Portikus she has been director at Kunstverein Braunschweig, and was granted the Kurator fellowship of Gebert Stiftung für Kultur in Switzerland. She has been working in different institutions, amongst them Kunstmuseum Lichtenstein. She curated exhibitions with a focus on performance artists such as Georgia Sagri or Dawn Kasper and developed exhibition projects with artists such as Alia Farid, Frida Orupabo, Leo Asemota and Nástio Mosquito. Further projects will include artists such as Hajra Waheed, Willem de Rooij and Lydia Ouramahne. She is a lecturer in the Master's program Curatorial Studies run by the Goethe University and the Städelschule.
