lives and works in Vienna An art historian and curator, she has been the chair of the Institute for Art Theory and Cultural Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna since 2011. She has curated numerous international exhibitions, amongst them Dieter Roth: Printed, Pressed, Bound, Graphic Arts Collection of the Albertina and Moore College of Art & design in Philadelphia (2000), SynChroniCity, Cairo Biennale 11 (2008) and Deep Water Horizon, University Art Gallery San diego, UCSd (2010). She is the author and editor of a large number of texts and publications, e.g. Performanz und ihre räumlichen Bedingungen, Perspektiven einer Kunstgeschichte, Böhlau 2012.
