Johannes Wohnseifer (*1967) lives and works in Cologne as an artist and professor of painting and sculpture at the Academy of Media Arts.

In der für curated by_vienna 2017 konzipierten Ausstellung lässt Johannes Wohnseifer seine neuen Bilder, Objekte und Textarbeiten mit den Werken befreundeter Kunstschaffender in Dialog treten. Neben neuen Arbeiten der Installations- und Objektkünstlerin Alexandra Bircken trifft man in der Schau auf Albrecht Fuchs’ fotografische Portraits von bekannten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, die in ihrem Schaffen das Thema Kunst und Sprache verhandeln.
