Milan Ther is Director of the Kunstverein in Hamburg, where he has organised exhibitions by Ima-Abasi Okon, Silke Otto-Knapp, Diego Marcon, Olga Balema, and Coumba Samba, and overseen large-scale projects including The Educational Web and On the Origins of the 21st Century or the Fall of Communism as Seen in Gay Pornography. Further, he has initiated the Hanne Darboven Artist-in-Residence Programme in collaboration with the Darboven Stiftung in Harburg, as well as a residency programme for project spaces at the Kunstverein in Hamburg.
